Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Trivendrum
As you land at the Trivandrum on the 1st day of the tour you will be escorted to one of the eminent resort, that is booked for you in advance. It is among one of the best resort in the city and is great place to start with the eco tour. The evening will be full of leisure that will bring lot of relaxing activities like working out in the gym, swimming and trying out some of the continental dishes.

Day 02: Kovalam
The 2nd day of the tour comes with sightseeing at Kovalam, one of the most important destination in Kerala. It is 'Paradise of the South' and is flooded with tourists from all over the world. So it gives us the opportunity to enjoy the best of its natural beauty. Spend time at leisure in the afternoon. In the evening check out the Varkala Beach.

Day 03: Kovalam
3rd day will be the most adventurous day of the tour, as today we will enjoy some water sports at the Kovalam Beach. We start with swimming and bathing in its crystal blue waters. After that we stroll into the sea for about 100 meters. We too will engage in sunbathing at the beach. You can even engage in snorkeling to experience the exotic marine life. Today we will try out the grilled sea food such as lobster, king prawns, and kalamari, which are got fresh from the sea at Kovalam. Later on we will also practice Yoga and meditation."

Day 04 : Kovalam - Thothapali (Overnight Houseboat)
On the 4th day of the tour we will drive to Thothapali houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam. We cruise around backwaters of Alleppey to Kumarakom to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 05 : Arrive Kumarakom
Next day after breakfast we proceed towards the Kumarakom backwaters, the cluster of little islands on the Vembanand Lake. Backwaters cruise on the leisure boat at the Kumarakom is surely the most enchanting experience of the lifetime. Emerald palms and coconut trees on either side of the boat mesmerizes you with its immense beauty. Furthermore Vembanad Lake is home to several types of marine life exclusively the Karimeen (Pearl Spotted Fish), Chemeen (Prawns) & Konju (Tiger Prawns).

Later we visit Kumarakom Bird sanctuary. There are two seasons for birds: between October & February there are cormorants, teals, & other ducks & from February to July there are darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, & Siberian storks. It also has golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen, tree pie etc.

Day 06 : Kumarakom - Periyar (135 kms - 4 hr)
On the 6th day of the tour we head towards one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar, we assist you to check in at our hotel. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. Late afternoon at 1500 hrs we shall take you to a guided Spice and palntation tour in one of the Spice Gardens / Plantations for which this region is famous.

Day 07 : Periyar - Munnar (160 kms - 4 hr)
Today we will be cruising at the periyar Lake that gives us the opportunity to view its exotic wildlife. The major attractions at the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary includes tigers, leopards, elephants, bison (gaur), antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey etc, and a wide variety of birds.

Early morning before breakfast at 0630 hrs we go for a wildlife tour to the sanctuary on lake Periyar by boat cruise. After two hours of wildlife viewing we get back to the hotel for breakfast.
Later we drive to Munnar, arrive in Munnar and check into the hotel.

Day 08 : Munnar
The next destination that comes on our tour is Munnar that is one of the most popular hill stations in India. It is located at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 Mts. above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. We will venture into the tea gardens and enchant with the workers working there. You can also go trekking with your friends passing through the winding lanes.

Morning post breakfast we head for a half-day tour of Munnar, visiting the *world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green hills all around - a place seen to be believed, and Eravikulam National Park (Park is closed in the month of January and February), the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). Rest of the day is spent at leisure to explore the destination of your own choice.

Day 09 : Munnar - Cochin (150 kms - 4 hr)
On the 9th day of the tour we drive to Cochin which had a very popular and historical sea trade connection with the Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, the Dutch and the British. It has one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian coastline. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. It is one of the few places in the world where one can see a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, architecture, mosques, temples and Chinese fishing nets, all in one city. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala's commercial hub.
In the evening we see Kerala's most popular classical dance, Kathakali.

Day 10 : Cochin - Departure
Half day city tour
Today we leave for a half day city tour of Cochin, with visits to St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568, spice market*, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, and Chinese fishing nets.

Later escorted to airport to board the flight for your onward Journey.
